Thanks for the new CTS web site. It’s a million times better than what we had before, and Joomla should make it easy for staff to update stuff … unlike before.

I noticed favicon.ico is still Joomla’s logo. May I suggest whipping up one for CTS?

Hi Adam,

We haven’t met (at least I don’t think so) but we know a lot of the same people. I’m a Disciples minister in Eureka, IL. My husband is chaplain at Eureka College. I’m also a fellow TCU alum (Go Frogs!) and have fond remembrances of Daryl Schmidt and South Hills CC.

I found you because I was looking for U2charist resources. Our Disciples cluster in the Peoria area is planning a U2charist for Palm Sunday as part of our Lenten worship series. I’ve been wanted to host one for 3 years, but only this year have things began to fall in place. Incidentally, I’m also connected to the Episcopal Church, having served 4.5 years with St. Christopher’s, Carmel, Indiana.

What I’d really like to know is have you done a U2charist for Disciples or in an ecumenical setting? Bruce and I are hoping not to totally reinvent the wheel since we’re pulling together a lot of people we don’t know well or at all! And we’d be grateful to benefit from your experience, if you’d be so kind as to share it.

Another question: Have you met Robert Welsh yet?

I am looking for a communion kit but possibly one that is more elaborate than the one pictured on your page. I was a diroctress for many years and continue to work with St. Marks here in San Antonio, Texas – I know the cost is high for silver but this is something that I would date to St. Marks someday – who can I call for ordering other than C.M. Almy (their kits are not so ornate either)
